Day 99: Hickman is gone

AJ did wonderful yesterday morning. It is so nice to not have the Hickman line in him anymore. It was a constant worry to Cindy and I. AJ also had a clinic visit with Dr. Frangoul. His numbers were again up and with his improvement and removal of the Hickman, they are going to start taking him off of some of the medications.

Wow!!! LOTS of great news and wonderful pictures, too! I loved all the Halloween news and the pictures of pumpkins and astronauts. Also, it is great to see Margot and Andy smiling broadly with you all; give them both a huge hug from us the next time they visit, OK? AJ, we're so glad that your numbers continue to rise and that the Hickman is out now; less worry for your parents. I bet you get more excited the closer you get to having a normal life again; be patient--your day is coming! Thanks so much for the lovely card with your great picture--we got it in the mail today and you are on display in our kitchen right now! We're still praying for you, AJ. It was a sunny November day today, so Wanda-doggie and Chope-horse and I went for a very long and beautiful fall ride in the hills today. The cottonwood trees are really bright yellow right now. We didn't see anyone on the trail for a 4-hour ride and it was great! Wanda-doggie is sleeping alot this evening as she did about 10 miles. Well, congratulations on your progress, AJ. Bye for now...
